The 8th Annual Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival will be held July 19th, 2014 on the Sydney Harbour at the Big Fiddle. The Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival raises funds for its 3 beneficiaries - the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, the Cape Breastoners Dragon Boat Team and the CB Special Olympics. With over 28 teams competing in this year's event, it's sure to be a huge success!!

The New Waterford Reds Midget 'A' baseball team will be hosting the 2nd Annual New Waterford Midget 'A' Baseball Tournament, July 25th to July 27th, at the Gerry Marsh Ball Field in New Waterford.

Come out and support your local and defending tournament champion, New Waterford Reds, the only Midget 'A' baseball team on Cape Breton.

Broad Cove Scottish Concert

Broad Cove Scottish Concert  | July 27th

The Broad Cove Scottish Concert is deemed as the largest outdoor Scottish concert in Cape Breton.

It is held on the last Sunday of July beginning at 3:00 pm. There is ample parking, canteen, washrooms, security and beer tent for those who are 19 and above. The concert is located 3 km north of Inverness on Route 19 on the grounds of St. Margaret's Parish.

The 58th Annual Broad Cove Concert is pleased to announce that there will be a number of local performers from across the province entertaining us from 3:00-6:00 pm with two major headliners to close out the concert!

Louisbourg Crabfest

Louisbourg Crabfest
This festival will start on Friday night at 7:30pm and will feature mussels fresh from the pot along with toe tappin' entertainment sure to please all! On Saturday we open at noon and delicious crab dinners are sold on this day only, starting at noon 'til they're gone! Great foot-stomping, down-home music is sure to entertain you throughout the day and well into the evening. We will also have activities for children during the afternoon. There will be a canteen, refreshment tent and souvenirs sold on site. Hope you can join us!
